Chicken in 'Raw 'Khudi |
1kg Chicken/ Beef / Mutton
4 medium sized onions (sliced)
2-3 cups Coriander leaves (1bunch)
2 tbsp East Indian Bottle Masala
3 Green Chilies
1"pc Ginger
6-8 cloves garlic (1pod garlic)
2 cups stock (chicken, beef or vegetable)
Juice of 1 lemon2tbsp Cooking oil
1tsp Salt (to taste)
Method
Roast Onions lightlyGrind : Roasted onions green chilies, ginger, garlic
In a pan , add the cooking oil and fry the roasted onions and the ground masala well for around 5 mins.
Add 2tbsp bottle masala and check if the level of spice is to your preference. If not, then add bottle masala accordingly.
Continue to fry for another 5 minutes and then add the meat.
Stir the meat for around 7 minutes and then add a cup of stock (chicken, beef or vegetable). Cook until tender .
Add juice of 1 lemon
Serve with Rice, hand bread or chetaps !
Optional: You can add fried potato quarters (lightly browned) just before adding the lemon juice.
