Lal Goli Masala aka Red Ball Masala
Ingredients
7tbsp coriander seeds
7tbsp red chili powder
2tbsp turmeric
1 glass water (..or more to use as needed)
Method
Use a blender/food processor attachment for masalas, chutneys, or powders (Different areas of the globe have different blenders with different attachments ). I used a 0.4 liter grinder.
Add the coriander seeds. Grind them to a paste with as little water as possible..
Then add the red chili powder to the ground/pasty coriander powder. Keep adding more water to maintain a pasty consistency
Finally add the turmeric to this mix. Continue adding water to maintain the pasty consistency.
Blend for a while and them remove..It should be pasty enough to roll into a ball.
......Hence the name "Lal Goli (Red Ball)" masala.
